Full Itinerary

8:00 AM: After breakfast, we’ll take a short shuttle transfer out of Sapa to O Quy Ho Village, where we saddle up and begin cycling deep into Sapa’s spectacular mountain countryside.

The morning starts with a rewarding descent along winding backroads and trails surrounded by lush mountains and beautiful terraced rice fields. We’ll ride through Sin Chai Village before reaching Cat Cat, home to the Black Hmong people. Here, we’ll take some time off the bikes to stroll through the village, observe local life, and soak up the peaceful atmosphere of this traditional mountain community. From Cat Cat, the route becomes a little rougher and more adventurous as we continue along scenic rural tracks toward Y Linh Ho. Tiny hamlets, sweeping green hillsides, rice terraces, and dramatic mountain scenery accompany us along the way. At a panoramic viewpoint, we’ll pause to admire the magnificent landscapes, with villages tucked into the hillsides and mountains stretching into the distance.

We then continue cycling toward Ta Van Village, passing through the beautiful Muong Hoa Valley before arriving at a welcoming local home, where a delicious home-cooked lunch awaits. The morning ride is mostly easy and downhill, allowing plenty of time for photographs, village visits, and enjoying the scenery. After lunch, however, the adventure takes on a more challenging character. We’ll tackle an approximately 10 km climb, gradually leaving the busy valley behind as we pedal higher into forested mountains and increasingly remote countryside.

Our destination is Seo My Ty Village, a peaceful mountain settlement beside a beautiful reservoir. On arrival, we’ll check in at a local homestay and settle into the tranquil surroundings. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at a slower pace. Wander through the village, meet local families, relax by the water, or head out onto the reservoir for a gentle bamboo-raft paddling experience surrounded by forested mountains. Overnight at a local homestay in Seo My Ty Village.

From here, follow tranquil rural roads and paths deeper into the valley toward Thanh Phu Commune, home of the Tay ethnic community. You'll have the chance to experience traditional village life, meet local families, and enjoy their warm hospitality.

Afterward, get back on your bikes and ride through remote hamlets, rice terraces, and lush mountain landscapes toward Nam Cang Commune. Along the way, visit a Red Dao village to learn about the community’s distinctive traditions and way of life. The final leg of the ride rewards you with sweeping views across the verdant Nam Sai Valley, framed by forest-covered mountains, quiet villages, and beautiful terraced hillsides—a memorable finale to an incredible day of cycling. In the late afternoon, our support vehicle meets the group for the scenic 1.5-hour drive back to Sapa, where the cycling adventure concludes.
