Full Itinerary

8:00 AM: Set off on an unforgettable cycling adventure through Sapa’s spectacular countryside, where dramatic mountain scenery, cascading rice terraces, and the rich cultures of local ethnic communities await.

After a gentle warm-up ride through Sapa town, we head south along a quiet, narrow paved road. As we leave the bustle behind, the landscape opens up to reveal breathtaking views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, home to Fansipan, and the magnificent terraced rice fields of the Muong Hoa Valley. We’ll pause at scenic viewpoints along the way, giving you plenty of time to take photos and soak up the beauty of northern Vietnam’s highlands.

Our ride continues to Su Pan, a peaceful hamlet inhabited by the Black Hmong people. From here, we follow tranquil rural roads and paths deeper into the valley toward Thanh Phu Commune, home to the Tay ethnic community. Here, we’ll have a chance to experience traditional village life, meet local families, and enjoy their warm hospitality over a delicious home-cooked lunch.

After lunch, we get back on our bikes and continue through remote hamlets, rice terraces, and lush mountain landscapes toward Nam Cang Commune. Along the way, we visit a Red Dao village and discover more about the community’s distinctive traditions and way of life. The final section of our ride rewards us with sweeping views across the verdant Nam Sai Valley, surrounded by forest-covered mountains, peaceful villages, and beautiful terraced hillsides—a memorable finale to our day of cycling in Sapa.

In the late afternoon, our support vehicle will meet us for the scenic 1.5-hour drive back to Sapa, where our cycling adventure comes to an end.
