Continue to Muang Ngoy village to savor authentic local cuisine for lunch at a riverside restaurant, followed by an hour of self-guided exploration through the village and its surroundings.

Afterward, embark on a private boat trip back to Nong Khiaw. This highly scenic cruise takes between 1 and 1.5 hours, depending on river flows, offering views of beautiful countryside and remote hamlets accessible only by water. The boat will bring you directly back to your hotel's pier. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to explore the town and its local markets, with dinner on your own.

We begin with a 45-minute transfer from the hotel to the outskirts of Pak Mong. From there, the road undulates for more than 33 km, offering an enjoyable and rewarding ride through rolling hills, lush valleys, vibrant rice fields, and charming rural villages. As the route winds along the Nam Ou River, the terrain becomes flatter and smoother, allowing you to easily cover the longer distance while soaking up spectacular river and mountain scenery.

After crossing the Nam Ou Bridge, we turn onto a quiet minor road following the river toward Wat Pak Ou, where we stop to visit and appreciate the peaceful surroundings. Finally, we board the support vehicle for a scenic 45-minute transfer to the historic city of Luang Prabang.

On our final day of cycling, we’ll ride to the hidden Kuang Si Waterfall through scenic countryside, colorful old temples, and vast rice paddies.

Along the way, we’ll visit the Laos Buffalo Dairy, a great local project that supports village families by renting their cattle to make delicious cheese and ice cream. After our visit, we'll pedal on to the waterfalls, enjoy a fresh lunch, and hike to the top for stunning mountain views. You’ll have plenty of time to relax and swim in the turquoise pools.

In the late afternoon, our support vehicle will bring us back to Luang Prabang. Enjoy some free time to explore the city on your own before we gather for a farewell dinner featuring delicious local Lao cuisine.
