Friendly smiles from local communities and the unhurried pace of the countryside make this one of the tour's most rewarding rides. The morning ride covers approximately 43 km, finishing in Choam Khsan, where a well-earned late lunch awaits.


After lunch, we'll board the support vehicle for a one-hour transfer to the magnificent Preah Vihear Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site perched 1722 feet up on the edge of a cliff with stunning views for miles around, built on the Poy Tady Cliff (525 m) in the mountainous region of Dangrek in northern Cambodia. We'll take a four wheel drive vehicle to the top of of Preah Vihear temple. Spend a couple of hours exploring reveals its impressive sequence of sanctuaries, ceremonial causeways, and grand staircases stretching over 800 metres. Dating primarily from the first half of the 11th century, Preah Vihear is celebrated not only for its remarkable Khmer architecture but also for its breathtaking panoramic views across the Cambodian plains below.


Following our temple exploration, we'll enjoy a short 45-minute transfer to Sra'aem in the late afternoon. Check into our hotel and have time to relax after an inspiring day of cycling and cultural discovery. In the evening, we'll gather for a team dinner to share stories from another memorable day on the road.

Today begins in Sra Em, a quiet town near the Thai-Cambodian border. You'll pedal along peaceful countryside roads lined with lush greenery and traditional stilt houses, occasionally riding alongside the Thai border during the morning. In the afternoon, you'll cycle through remote villages and rural farmland dotted with fruit orchards, vegetable fields, and rice paddies before arriving in Anlong Veng, a town with deep historical ties to the Khmer Rouge. This was the site of some of the regime's final battles before its eventual surrender to government forces in the late 1990s.

After lunch, we'll board the support vehicle for a one-hour transfer to the magnificent Preah Vihear Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site perched 1722 feet up on the edge of a cliff with stunning views for miles around, built on the Poy Tady Cliff (525 m) in the mountainous region of Dangrek in northern Cambodia. We'll take a four wheel drive vehicle to the top of of Preah Vihear temple. Spend a couple of hours exploring reveals its impressive sequence of sanctuaries, ceremonial causeways, and grand staircases stretching over 800 metres. Dating primarily from the first half of the 11th century, Preah Vihear is celebrated not only for its remarkable Khmer architecture but also for its breathtaking panoramic views across the Cambodian plains below.


Following our temple exploration, we'll enjoy a short 45-minute transfer to Sra'aem in the late afternoon. Check into our hotel and have time to relax after an inspiring day of cycling and cultural discovery. Today begins in Sra Em, a quiet town near the Thai-Cambodian border. You'll pedal along peaceful countryside roads lined with lush greenery and traditional stilt houses, occasionally riding alongside the Thai border during the morning. In the afternoon, you'll cycle through remote villages and rural farmland dotted with fruit orchards, vegetable fields, and rice paddies before arriving in Anlong Veng, a town with deep historical ties to the Khmer Rouge.
