After a lunch break in My Tho, we'll have a shuttle transfer to Ben Tre for an afternoon bike ride. Cycle through lively villages along smooth coconut-lined paths shaded by lush water palms. Along the way, we stop at local workshops where traditional products such as coconut oil, coconut jelly, and coconut fiber are made. The afternoon ride covers approximately 23 km and ends at Co Chien Bridge, where we meet our vehicle for the transfer to your hotel.

We’ll depart from the hotel by shuttle to Bat Pagoda (Chua Doi), the oldest pagoda in Soc Trang. Dating back more than 450 years, the pagoda is renowned for its distinctive and magnificent architecture and its tranquil grounds, which are home to large colonies of bats.

The morning ride is fabulous along rural paths—a 36 km route that takes you through remote Khmer hamlets, across agricultural canals, and to small markets nestled along winding creeks and fertile farmlands, offering a lush, verdant sense of the countryside on the way to the Lung Ngoc Hoang Nature Reserve, and savor a delicious lunch.

We’ll spend two hours exploring this flooded forest ecosystem. Take a boat ride to experience the wildlife and natural beauty, where you may see many species of birds, fish, snakes, wild bees, bats, storks, egrets, cormorants, kingfishers, and watercocks. You can also walk through certain areas, climb the observation tower, and enjoy the stunning landscape.

This is a great opportunity for us to explore one of the Mekong Delta’s most untouched wetland reserves. It covers approximately 2,800 hectares of flooded melaleuca forest, canals, swamps, and bird habitats and is often referred to as the “green lung” of the Mekong Delta. Visitors can explore its unique flora and fauna while immersing themselves in the wetlands of the melaleuca forest.

In the late afternoon, we’ll transfer to Can Tho, with a stop at Nga Nam Market in Phung Hiep—a fascinating rural market where farmers sell live snakes, a wide variety of birds, and various species of storks.
