In the afternoon, continue your Mekong Delta cycling adventure across the island before taking the final ferry back to the mainland and entering Tra Vinh’s Khmer countryside. Follow scenic back roads past emerald rice fields, coconut groves, picturesque canals, rustic villages, and colorful Khmer Buddhist temples.

Today is a leisurely day, beginning with a gentle bike ride through local villages to discover the unique Macapuno coconut. Unlike a regular coconut, Macapuno has thick, soft, translucent, jelly-like flesh that nearly fills the shell, with very little free-flowing liquid. Its rich, creamy texture resembles thick condensed milk or soft coconut jelly.

Continue your ride to learn how local artisans create traditional Khmer masks, often seen at Khmer festivals and traditional performances. You will also discover how locals prepare Cốm Dẹp, a traditional delicacy made from young sticky rice.

After these cultural experiences, cycle back to the lodge for lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax—rest your legs by the pool while enjoying peaceful views over the lush green rice paddies.
