Yen Minh is a peaceful district in Ha Giang Province, situated along Vietnam’s northern frontier. It borders Yunnan Province of China to the north, Meo Vac District to the east, Quan Ba District to the west, and Bac Me District to the south. Located on National Highway 4C, Yen Minh lies approximately 98 kilometers northeast of Ha Giang City. Covering an area of 783.65 square kilometers, the district is divided into 16 communes and townships. Yen Minh serves as a scenic gateway to the UNESCO Global Geopark of the Dong Van Karst Plateau, where winding rural roads weave through dramatic limestone mountains, lush valleys, and tranquil rivers.
