Duong Lam Ancient Village is located approximately 50 km northwest of downtown Hanoi. Recognized as a National Cultural and Historical Relic by the Vietnamese government, the village offers a fascinating glimpse into traditional Vietnamese rural life. It preserves the distinctive features of a typical northern Vietnamese village, including ancient banyan trees, communal wells, spacious village courtyards, pagodas and temples, winding brick-paved lanes, narrow alleys, laterite walls, and centuries-old wooden houses. Strolling along its moss-covered brick roads, visitors can discover historic landmarks such as the village communal house, Mia Pagoda, a Catholic church, and beautifully preserved ancestral homes that embody the rich architectural heritage of the Red River Delta.
