Cycling Mekong Delta homestay. First, tropical fruit trees such as Mangosteen, Durian, Rambutan, Langsat, Green Siamese Coconut, and the Date-palm were brought in by father Gernot from Thailand and Malaysia through the Cambodia gateway. These trees after that multiplied in the gardens of influential rich men, who also served in the local council. So, amongst the first Vietnamese in Cho Lach to grow the imported trees known to many were the brothers of Nguyen Van Hieu (a councilman, who was born here in 1883) and Nguyen Van Thuan (a foreman, born 1887, died 1975). Day 1: Saigon – Tien Giang -  BenTre (L/D) (30-50 km)
Our guides and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you for about 1 1/2 hours to Long An province. Begin cycling the first day from Tan An to My Tho. Pedal through villages among rice fields and vegetable plantations. During our bike ride, we stop and visit many local workshops which making cowboy hats. Have lunch in Ngoc Gia Trang restaurant in My Tho city. After lunch, transfer by van for about 30 minutes to Ben Tre town, and start to pedal through coconut gardens and cross many small rivers to our home-stay location. Overnight in local house with natural air-conditioner

Day 2: BenTre – SaiGon (B/L) (30-40 km)
Wake up in the early morning, take a 5 minute walk to local market by the waterside. See how the locals prepare for daily market. Back to the home-stay location for breakfast, and pedal cross Ham Luong river to Chau Thanh district. Pedal through nurseries, gardens, ornamental gardens, and pedal past remote areas and many village markets. Have lunch before being transported back to Saigon. End of Tour.
