Mekong Delta Cycling Adventures. Long Xuyen is the center of the Hoa Hao religion. There are also many Catholic churches, as well as some people who follow Buddhism and other religions. Its considerate as a rice bowl of Vietnam. Travelling by bike in Vietnam and Cambodia, cyclists will cycle pass An Giang province. Day 1: Saigon – Sadec (L/D) (45 km)
Pick up at your hotel and transfer by car for two hours to Tien Giang province where we will start the first day of biking. Bike to Xeo Quyt base, the Viet Cong base with a small underground tunnel which was made during Vietnam war from 1963-1975. Viet Cong guide will take you to mangrove forest by rowing boat. He will explain to you why US army was defeated right here. Have lunch at Xeo Quyt base and have a walk to a lotus field, then bike to Sadec town for our first night.

Day 2: Sadec – CanTho ( B/L/D) (50-75 km)
Wake up in early morning, take a walk to Sadec market nearby, and see how the locals prepare an early morning market in town. Visit some of French-style old villas, which the French built along the canals, and go through the town. Sadec town is the only town in Vietnam's Mekong Delta which still preserve's Indochina's history. The town was the featured in Magueret Duras's famous movie The Lover, about her love for a Chinese man before 1932.
Check out of the hotel, start to ride through ornamentals flower gardens, pass by workshops, and see locals producing rice powder.  Lunch en route. In the afternoon, continue cycling past sweet potato plantations and rice fields to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho, the capital of Vietnam's Mekong Delta

Day 3: Can Tho-Long Xuyen (B/L/D) (80 Km)
Have breakfast, check out of the hotel, and go to Cai Rang floating market by boat. See how locals exchange goods from boat to boat on the river. Disembark from your boat and visit another land market where you can find seasonal vegetable and fruits. Then cycle on dirt tracks to Thoi Lai, continue cycling on back roads to Co Do for lunch. In the afternoon, cycle through beautiful rice paddies and villages along the network of canals. stop for a short break at the Bang Lang stork sanctuary. Transfer to Long Xuyen city, overnight in Long Xuyen city.

Day 4: Long Xuyen – Rach Gia - Phu Quoc (B/L) (30-60 km)
Leave the hotel in early morning by bike, ride to Rach Gia town. Today, the bike ride is lovely, we pedal along countryside roads and waterways through huge Rice Bowl of Vietnam. Finish the 3 day cycling tour in Rach Gia town at around 11:30 am. Today, your packed lunch will be taken with you on high speed boat. You are also have a short stay in the hotel for a shower before you get on high speed boats to Phu Quoc at 1:00pm. This is a 2 1/2 hour trip to the Island. (option, have a breakfast and relax until transfer directly to Rach Gia town) End of tour!
