In Viet Nam, the Central Highlands includes 3 different provinces -- they are Lam Dong, Dak Lak and Gia Lai-Kon Tum.
After we explored them all, we decided to choose Lam Dong and Lac Lake, Dak Lak Province, as two areas representing the Central Highlands region for cycling. Lam Dong, is divided into several districts, of which Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lien Nghia (which has the beautiful road to Lac Lake), and the province capital of Da Lat are the most beautiful parts.
We say so because they have so many beautiful landscapes of hills, flowers, forests, tea plantations, pine trees and natural waterfalls. In addition, they have so many smooth roads that are less touristy for us to cycle on.
